Az Android 16 következő frissítése megoldhat egy nagy asztali mód problémát
Google is adding a new feature called „Universal cursor” in the Android 16 QPR2 release. This setting, when off, stops your mouse from moving between screens. This is helpful if you use a large monitor and often move your mouse onto your phone’s small screen by accident.
QPR2 is the second major update for Android’s latest version. Many of its changes appear on Pixel phones first. Google often brings these features to other Android devices later. Android Authority reports this feature is in Android 16 QPR2 Beta 1. You can easily turn the Universal cursor on or off.
Universal cursor fixes a major frustration. Using your phone as a computer on an external display is useful. However, accidentally swiping onto your phone’s screen is very annoying. The Universal cursor feature makes a big difference. It is a welcome change even if the setting seems minor.
To use Universal cursor, go to Settings. Then select Connected Devices, followed by External displays. Find the Universal cursor toggle and turn it off. The feature is on by default. Turning it off also stops you from rearranging your displays. You won’t need to do that if your cursor stays on one screen.
Android’s desktop mode still trails Samsung DeX. DeX is built into all Samsung phones. Google’s work on its desktop mode shows commitment. It is not just a feature for longtime fans. Google has used QPR updates before. They added features to Google Maps and fixed Android 16’s dark mode.
